Terms of Service

Welcome to PARstok. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform and services ("Service"). By signing up or using PARstok you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

PARstok is operated as a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our").

2. Service description

PARstok provides restaurants with tools to:

  • View real-time costs and margins
  • Automate invoice management
  • Track supplier spend and reduce waste

The Service is provided online and hosted via third-party providers (Heroku and AWS).

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Subscription & fees

PARstok is offered as a monthly subscription:

  • Trial month: £39 for the first month.
  • Standard rate: £79 per month thereafter.

Payments are processed via Stripe. We do not store payment card details.

5. Cancellation & termination

Customers: You may cancel at any time with one month's notice. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the notice period.

PARstok: We may (a) terminate your subscription immediately and provide a refund equivalent to one month's fee, or (b) give one month's notice without refund.

On termination your access will end. We may retain your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Data & intellectual property

Your data: You retain ownership of data you upload (e.g. invoices, supplier information, costs).

Licence to process: By using the Service you grant us a licence to process your data as necessary to provide the Service, and to use aggregated and anonymised data to improve the platform and generate insights.

Our IP: All rights in PARstok (software, designs, branding) remain exclusively ours.

7. Availability & third parties

The Service is provided on a best-efforts basis. We rely on third-party vendors (Heroku, AWS, Stripe, PostHog) and availability may be affected by their systems. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

8. Allergen data and customer responsibility

PARstok provides allergen management capabilities as part of the Service. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and maintenance of all allergen data, ingredient information, and related content you input, upload, or manage through the platform.

While we provide tools to help you manage allergen information, PARstok is not liable for any errors, omissions, misrepresentations, or inaccuracies in allergen data or any resulting harm, including but not limited to allergic reactions, health and safety incidents, or regulatory non-compliance.

You must independently verify all allergen information and ensure compliance with applicable food safety regulations and labelling requirements. The Service is a management tool only and does not replace your legal obligations as a food business operator.

9. Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for indirect, special, or consequential losses (including loss of profits, revenue, or business).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for direct losses arising from or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.

10. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or in-app. Continued use of the Service after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
